He sanded our stained hallway stairs. He then painted the spindles, front of the raisers and the side boards all white. He completed the job by painting the high walls that go up the stairs and the hallway. He is very meticulous and neat. They say the most important part of any paint job is the prep work. I have owned houses since the 80s and never seen such detail paid to the prep work. In fact the entire process was a very detailed process. Our home is 70 years old. The paint was failing, there were issues where water was intruding, and even some rot in trim. Everything was painstakingly repaired, flashed, primed, and painted with expert care. Tremendous care was taken to make sure we approved the color and the sheen of the paint. We have one area of Hardy board that the paint had to match...it was perfect. Every day the area was cleaned up, and neat so we were still able to use our yard. Even though my picket fence and deck were not part of the project, they treated it during the prep process and cleaned it up beautifully. We have interior painting projects in our future.
